WEDNESDAY
- At 11:21 p.m., an officer had contact with a person on the ninth floor of Stevenson D Tower who produced drug paraphernalia. The person received a verbal warning for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- At 11:58 p.m., an officer responded to Still Gym regarding possible criminal damage. Upon arrival, he observed a metal door with cracks in its safety glass. The scene was processed for evidence. Due to no leads and no suspects, this case is closed.
THURSDAY
- At 12:05 a.m., an officer on patrol of the ninth floor of Grant South B Tower smelled an odor consistent with cannabis emanating from a specific room. The officer contacted the residents of that room, who produced cannabis and drug paraphernalia. One person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- At 11:13 a.m., an officer responded to the fourth floor of Douglas Hall A Wing regarding the theft of a wallet. Upon arrival, he met with a man who said that someone stole his wallet from his unoccupied room while his door was open. This case is pending investigation.
- At 9:34 p.m., an officer took a report regarding credit card fraud. A woman said her wallet was stolen from DuSable Hall earlier in the day at 11 a.m. She said someone used her credit cards. This case is pending investigation.
- At 9:34 p.m., officers responded to NIU Parking Lot 12 regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers contacted the occupants, who produced cannabis. The cannabis was collected and processed into evidence. The occupants received a verbal warning for possession of cannabis.
