NIU campus blotter (9/20/11)

Thursday

  • At 8 a.m., an officer investigated a report of theft of an NIU sign. The investigation revealed the location of the sign and the offenders. They were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
  • At 8:06 p.m., an officer responded to Lot 14 for report of criminal damage to property. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant who said someone broke the driver’s side front window of her car. She advised that she did not notice anything missing. This case is pending investigation.

  • At 9:07 p.m., an officer responded to the NIU Broadcast Center regarding a report of criminal damage to property. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant who said someone damaged his vehicle. This case is pending investigation.

 

  • At 9:07 p.m., an officer responded to the NIU Broadcast Center regarding a report of criminal damage to property. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant, who said someone broke a window to her vehicle and stole money from the vehicle. This case is pending investigation.

 

  • At 9:45 p.m., an officer responded to the fourth floor of Stevenson North C Tower for a report of unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. Upon arrival, he interacted with six people in the suspect’s room. All six were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
