Three NIU Board of Trustees committees will meet today.

The Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Personnel Committee will meet at 9 a.m. The committee will discuss, among other things, a proposal Fiscal Year 2011 external funding for research.

The Finance, Facilities and Operations Committee will meet at 10 a.m. and review the FY12 internal budget, FY13 budget guidelines and other proposals for endorsement. The committee will also review proposals on FY11 report of tuition and fee wavers, FY11 report on capital activities and other proposals for information.

The Legislation, Audit and External Affairs Committee will meet at 11 a.m. Reports brought before the committee for information will include a proposal on the status of state universities retirement system FY12 pension funds, Freedom of Information Act requests for June 1, 2010 to Aug.15, 2011 and others.
