The 35th annual O’Connell Awards for the Department of Communications will be held May 1 in the Holmes Student Center. The award goes to over 50 outstanding achievements of graduate students in scholarship, creativity, research, forensics and leadership. A reception will take place in Ellington’s restaurant at 3 p.m. and the ceremony will be in the Sky Room at 4 p.m.
