NIU is searching for a new director for the University Honors Program. According to a press release from the department, the new director will have a year long contract and report directly to Vice Provost Earl “Gip” Seaver.

The qualifications include a doctoral or appropriate terminal degree and experience with honors education among others. According to the release, preference will be given to tenured associate or full professors who apply. The deadline to apply is April 8. Those interested should send a letter of interest, resume and names of three references to the provost’s office.

The position officially opens up on July 1.
