Nominations for the Deacon Davis Diversity Award will be accepted through March 18.

According to a press release, the Deacon Davis Diversity Award is presented annually to three individuals as voted upon by current NIU undergraduate, graduate and professional students; faculty, supportive professional staff and civil service staff; and academic units, offices, programs or organizations.

The award recognizes contributions made to the improvement of the status of minorities on the NIU campus.

Nominations can be found online at http://www.niu.edu/pcsm/ddda/index.shtml. Nominations can also be forwarded by e-mail or fax.

Nominators must submit one additional letter of support and submit it with the nomination form. The nominations will then be reviewed by the Presidential Commission on the Status of Minorities.
