What is the most pressing issue facing the Student Association right now?

“I believe the most pressing issue facing the Student Association right now is the procedure of allocating funds to all the different student organizations in our university. While the process has been managed well in the past, I believe enhancements are needed to produce better, long-term results.”

What do you hope to accomplish as treasurer?

“As treasurer, I will be actively involved in all the aspects of allocating funds to all the different student organizations. I want this process to be efficient and effective, and to ensure I represent the best interest for all student organizations at Northern Illinois University. In these tough economic times, recognizing the increased costs students are facing; it is critically important good fiscal decisions are made. I plan to manage my position in an open and fair manner.”
