Karlene Anderson joins Robert Speed Productions, brings resources and services to global agency
February 5, 2011
CHICAGO – St. Charles, IL – Karlene Anderson, a public relations, marketing communications and web content writing consultant in Chicago’s suburb of Saint Charles has been accepted as a freelance public relations consultant for Robert Speed Productions, a global artist management firm dedicated to representing true artists with real talent. The firm is currently growing a global network of like-minded consultants that will work together and serve projects in cities across the country.
Anderson will represent Robert Speed Productions (RSP) not only locally, but also to various cities in the US and around the world. She bring the firm’s services and resources to local artists and organizations – resources which include best practices in event planning, marketing communications, public relations and a full-service creative services department. Anderson has more than 15 years experience in the nonprofit, city government, cultural arts, and small business sectors effectively blending non-profit leadership, policy and planning, and creative direction from developing public relations contacts, marketing collateral, and interactive mediums. Anderson has successfully developed clear media and community relations campaigns for smaller and larger organizations. She presents a concise message about the organization’s mission, goals and impact on the diverse publics they serve. She has proficiency with business software including MS Office, QuickBooks, and creative design programs that allows her to communicate efficiently with staff and outside vendors regarding budgets, negotiate quotes, and report cumulatively on, for example, ongoing programs, special events, galas, or cultural arts festivals.
Entrepreneurial businesses, nonprofit groups and state agencies in Illinois will now have the chance to tap into that philosophy as well as a nation-wide network of marketing and public relations experts. Anderson – who will be a local Robert Speed Productions affiliate – will serve as a project director and public relations consultant initially for the focused project of doing publicity for the global release of Tania Doko’s new solo EP, “It’s Time”, and a track included in Disney’s movie STEP UP 3D and the much anticipated full-song-version of such said track. This past month the DVD version of the movie STEP UP 3D was released to video outlets, such as Blockbuster. ‘Joyride’ (The music featured in the movie’s boom box room scene) will be released as ‘Tania Doko’s JOYRIDE the King Cutter remix featuring rapper Twin Atoms’.
“It is an honor for me to be included in this partnership because innovative public relations is key for the progress of entrepreneurial artist management organizations and Robert Speed Productions comprehends how funding needs are confronted by these individuals and groups,” says Anderson. “Marketing and public relations are many times not on one of the higher rungs of priorities for the individual artists and organizations and therefore they consequently do not sufficiently and effectively connect with their public.”
“RSP’s method is that marketing and public relations is at the core of all you do. We believe that first you identify your target group, and you shape solid, clear, and uniform messages that will entice them to act. With being part of Robert Speed Productions we are able to bring a vast amount of expertise to a multitude of marketing or public relations projects, all be it simple or complex.”
