The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
At 5:29 p.m. on Sunday, DeKalb Police responded to the Hot Spot convenience store at 901 Lucinda Ave., to assist the business regarding an individual who had allegedly stolen from the establishment in the past. Police found that the suspect, Robert E. Price, 21, of Chicago, had a failure to appear warrant for theft of services. Price was banned from the Hot Spot and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.
At 11:08 p.m. on Sunday, DeKalb Police responded to a subject whose car keys were locked inside a vehicle in the 1300 block of East Dresser Road. Police learned the subject, Patrick J. Safford, 22, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. Safford was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.
- At 11:31 p.m. on Sunday, DeKalb Police pulled over a vehicle in the 800 block of Russell Road for failing to use a turn signal. Police learned the driver, Jarrel L. Henderson, 21, of DeKalb, had a warrant for driving with a suspended license. Henderson was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.
