The Rant: Miami Heat have Bulls’ record in sight

By Mike Buda

The crowning of the Miami Heat as the 2010-11 NBA champions will be the exclamation point on why they are far more superior than the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls.

Michael Jordan and his band of scrubs weren’t good enough for an NBA championship, but since they were playing in the pre-LeBron James era, they won by default.

LeBron, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh can win the whole shebang by themselves, but since the fascist NBA rules say that there must be five players on the court, that will never happen.

Since there must be others to fill the hardwood, the Heat have the unfair advantage. Mike Miller and Eddie House are a better three-point shooting combo than Reggie Miller and Ray Allen let alone Toni Kukoc and Steve Kerr.

72 wins? That’s child’s play compared to the 80 that you will see this year.
