DeKALB | DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott said the 19-year-old man who was reported missing on Sept. 30 and found dead on Oct. 1 has no connection whatsoever to the homicide investigation of Antinette “Toni” Keller.

“The only similarity between the two was they are both from NIU,” Scott said.

Scott said the man who was found on Oct. 1 had a self-inflicted wound that caused his death.

“If there was any other reason, we would’ve done an investigation on it,” Scott said.
