A Board of Trustees Special Business Meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in 315 Altgeld Hall.

The agenda includes a proposal for the agreement between NIU and Fermilab for the Neutron Cancer Therapy Facility, student recruitment advertising, and plans to demolish the Northern View Community Apartments.

The event is open to the public and there is time scheduled on the agenda for public comments.

At previous meetings during the fall semester, the Board of Trustees approved plans for construction of a new freshman residence hall and inducted student trustee Robert Sorsby.
