Final two home invasion suspects arrested

Two people were arrested today in connection with the Sept. 28 Cortland home invasion.

Wallace Sullivan Jr., 35, of Summitt, was arrested and charged with home invasion, a class x felony, according to a DeKalb County Sheriff’s press release.

Sullivan was arrested at about 10 a.m. today in Hanover Park by U.S. Marshals, the release said.

According to the release, Sullivan is expected to be transported to the DeKalb County Jail by Sheriff’s deputies tonight.

A third man, Demar T. Davis, 34, of Argo, Ill. and of Las Vegas, has also been arrested by the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force in Las Vegas late this afternoon in connection with the same incident, the release stated.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and States Attorney’s Office will work with Las Vegas authorities regarding extradition over the next several days, the release said.

Davis’ bond has been set at $2 million.

Bond was previously set at $1 million for Sullivan.

Robert Jackson, 24, of Bolingbrook, was the first person arrested in regards to the home invasion.

Jackson was arrested on Sept. 28 in Sycamore. He was charged with two counts of home invasion, two counts of armed violence, residential burglary, aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
