MONDAY

At 11:53 a.m., a report was received on the fraudulent use of a credit card. Investigation determined that no fraud occurred, making this case unfounded.

At 8:52 p.m., a report was received of someone smoking marijuana at Douglas Hall. After arriving at the room in question, the officer was allowed voluntary entry and did a consent search of the occupants and the resident’s side of the room. Drug paraphernalia was revealed and Seth G. Kukla, 18, of DeKalb was arrested for possession of drug equipment while the other two parties involved received referrals to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for smoking cannabis in the Residence Halls.
