Tickets and fan bus still available for NIU vs. Illinois game

Excuses for not attending this weekend’s football game in Champaign between NIU and the University of Illinois are growing scarce.

As of Wednesday afternoon, there were still over 6,000 tickets left, according to the University of Illinois Box Office. Tickets sold from the university range in price from $45-50 and can be purchased over the phone by calling 1-866-ILLINI-1.

If parting with $45 is too painful of an idea, is an option. With tickets starting at $6, bargain hunters are sure to find a deal to their liking.

The NIU Student Association has also orchestrated a fan bus trip that includes a game ticket and a round trip bus ride for $20. As of press time, there were only eight tickets left, which means most Huskie fans will be left to their own means to get to the game.

Those interested should either go to the Holmes Student Center Box Office or contact the SA at 815-753-0483.
