The bride is a graduate of Mary Pop High School. She iscurrently employed as a State Senator for Iowa.

The groom is a graduate of Jimmy Johns High School, HarvardMedical School, and has a PhD from Harvard Medical School. He isChief Surgeon at Valley State Community Hosipital in Bettendorf,Iowa.
