At 6:47 p.m., a victim reported someone took her wallet from her purse in Lincoln Hall. She said the theft may have occurred on March 7. With no further leads, on Wednesday case was closed.

April 1

At 9:16 p.m., University Police responded to a report of domestic battery at Douglas Hall. Upon investigation, officers learned that the report was unfounded. Officers arrested Precious N. Spight, 19, of Chicago, for filing a false police report. Officers booked Spight at the NIU Police Department, where she posted bond and was later released.
