Learn “how to avoid marrying a jerk” at new program

“How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk or Jerkette” is a new program being offered by the University of Illinois Extension. The program will make its way to Sycamore on three consecutive Wednesdays, April 8, 15 and 22. These three sessions will assist singles on how to search for the right spouse, and subjects that are focused on are intimacy, trust, commitment, how to really get to know a person and how to build a strong, long-lasting bond with a partner.

The classes will be taught by family life educator Betty Lou Barsley-Marra. People of all ages are encouraged to register. The program will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Sessions will be located at the U of I Extension, 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore.
