At 12:45 a.m., a verbal altercation at the Northern View Apartments was reported. Upon investigation, University Police learned a pregnant woman and a man were shouting at each other in the parking lot. The man, who was trying to get the woman off the hood of his car, hit her and then proceeded to drive slowly around the parking lot in order to get her off. Finally, the woman got off the car and the man drove off. Charges of domestic battery and reckless conduct are pending.

At 3:06 p.m., someone stole under $300 from an office in Gilbert Hall. A sum of cash was taken from a desk drawer in one of the offices. Case is closed due to lack of leads.
At 6:47 p.m., an item worth less than $300 was reported at Grant South. Case is pending.
At 8:40 p.m., University Police on patrol in Lincoln Hall overheard loud comments about drinking. After locating the room, the officer knocked and was allowed entry. Both occupants admitted to underage drinking and were let off with a verbal warning.
At 9:16 p.m., University Police on patrol in Lincoln Hall smelled cannabis coming from one of the rooms. After locating the room, the officer knocked and was allowed entry. The occupant admitted to smoking cannabis and turned over what he had left along with a couple of pipes. The occupant was referred to Judicial Affairs.
At 9:17 p.m., University Police on patrol in Lincoln Hall met an individual who exhibited signs of alcohol consumption. After being allowed entry into the individual’s room, the officer saw a bottle of whiskey, which the individual poured into a sink. The individual was given a verbal warning.
