At 11:31 p.m., University Police on patrol in Lincoln Hall smelled alcohol coming from a room. The officer knocked on the door and was voluntarily allowed entry into the room. The officer questioned the individual, who admitted to drinking. The individual was referred to Judicial Affairs for unlawful consumption of alcohol.
Feb . 13
At 2:29 a.m., University Police on patrol in Grant North found two men sleeping on the floor in the lounge. The officers smelled alcohol coming from them. The men admitted to drinking alcohol earlier. The two men were referred to Judicial Affairs for unlawful consumption of alcohol.
At 8:15 a.m., a victim reported someone took her coat from the coat rack near the Lincoln Hall dock area at 7 p.m. on Feb. 12. When she came back at 11:30 p.m., it was gone. The coat contained an MP3 player, a cell phone and four keys. Case is pending.
At 11:57 p.m., University Police on patrol in Lot O saw three individuals sitting in a vehicle that was not running, despite the cold weather. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver opened his door. The officer noticed a strong odor of cannabis coming from the vehicle. The officer found cannabis when he searched the vehicle. All three individuals were referred to Judicial Affairs.
Feb. 14
At 1:20 a.m., University Police on patrol in Douglas Hall stopped when he heard someone coughing excessively in the men’s bathroom. When the officer entered the bathroom to check on the individual, the officer noticed a strong odor of cannabis. While talking with the officer, the individual removed some drug paraphernalia from his pocket and gave it to the officer. The individual went into his room to get his ID. When the door was opened, the officer saw three underage individuals with beer cans in plain view. The first individual was referred to Judicial Affairs for possession of drug equipment; the other three were referred for illegal consumption of alcohol.
At 11:58 p.m., University Police on patrol in Douglas Hall smelled alcohol coming from one of the rooms. The individuals in the room were referred to Judicial Affairs.
