At 1:11 a.m., University Police on a well-being check in Grant South found two individuals intoxicated in their rooms. Officers arrested Kyle D. Shanahan, 18, of Round Lake Beach, and Timothy R. McCann, 18, of Grayslake, for underage consumption and possession of alcohol. Officers booked Shanahan and McCann at the NIU Police Department, where they were later released on bond.

At 2:30 a.m., University Police found two individuals arguing in Lot W. One assaulted the other, but no complaint was filed. Case is closed.
