31st Black Student Art Show to be on display through February

The 31st Annual Black Student Art Show will be on display through February. The theme of the exhibit is “The Struggle is Not Over: Birth of A New Nation.”
The curator for the event will be artist George Ogundipe, Center for Black Studies student assistant. This year’s display is sponsored by the African Student Association, CAB Arts, Center for Black Studies, Black Student Union and B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S.
The opening reception will be held Sunday, Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center Art Gallery. This event is free and open to the public.
The Black Student Art Show is an opportunity for the campus to view the visual talents of artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The artists that will be displaying their works represent various majors and artistic impressions.
