Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith was on campus Friday to register one of his three sons for classes at NIU.

Smith was with his wife, MaryAnne, to register their son for classes after he transferred from another school.

Smith declined an interview when asked in the Campus Life Building.

The coach is coming off of a 9-7 season with the Chicago Bears. The team finished second in the NFC North division and missed the playoffs. Smith and his family live in Lake Forest.
