Oct. 15

• At 12:41 a.m., a victim reported receiving several electronic messages of a harassing nature. Case is pending.

Oct. 28

• At 11:38 p.m., a vehicle in Lot J sustained deliberate damage to the license plate and gas door. Case is pending.

Nov. 13

• At 2:49 p.m., a victim reported someone took her NIU OneCard from the Grant South laundry room. The victim did not notice it was missing until the next morning. The card had been used multiple times. Case is closed.

Nov. 14

• At 11:10 a.m., University Police spotted an individual who was banned from all NIU property walking through King Memorial Commons. Officers arrested Kameel D. Simmons, 23, of Bellwood, for criminal trespassing on state-supported land. Officers booked Simmons at the NIU Police Department, where he posted bond and was released.
