At 12:44 p.m., a book bag with several books was taken from the lobby of Grant South. Video surveillance identified the suspect, who thought the owner of the bag resided on his floor. He stated that he returned the bag to the original location once no one claimed it, only he never notified anyone of its presence. Case is closed.
Oct. 30
At 7:08 a.m., victim reported receiving multiple blocked calls along with a threatening message over her cell phone. Upon investigating, the officer warned the alleged offender against posting material electronically. A complaint has been filed against the alleged offender. Case is pending.
At 1:43 p.m., an individual reported a theft of a package from Grant North. He went to Grant North’s front desk to claim two packages with two slips he had received. The individual received only one package, and reported a theft. Upon investigating, the individual stated that the one slip was probably a duplication. Case is closed.
