Oct. 18

• At 2 a.m., University Police referred an individual to Judicial Affairs for unlawfully consuming alcohol at the Recreation Center.

• At 12:38 p.m., University Police referred an individual to Judicial Affairs for unlawfully consuming alcohol at Huskie Stadium.

• At 12:50 p.m., victim reported that their cell phone was stolen in Grant South. Case is pending.

• At 1:50 p.m., University Police referred an individual to Judicial Affairs for unlawfully consuming alcohol at Huskie Stadium.

• At 2:18 p.m., University Police referred an individual to Judicial Affairs for unlawfully consuming alcohol at Huskie Stadium.

Oct. 19

• At 2:18 a.m., victim reported trying to stop an individual from starting a fight at Stevenson North. The individual pushed the victim out of the way. University Police referred the individual to Judicial Affairs.

• At 4:15 a.m., University Police arrested Michael A. Starlta, 19, of Crete, for driving under the influence of alcohol. University Police booked him at the NIU Police Department, where he posted bond.

• At 9:00 a.m., criminal damage to two motorcycles in Lot 15E was reported. Case is closed.

• At 9:40 a.m., a theft over $300 was reported at the Holmes Student Center. Case is pending.

• At 10:44 a.m., criminal damage to two motorcycles in Lot 15E was reported. Case is closed.

• At 11:06 a.m., officer reported graffiti on a wall at Grant North. Case is closed.

• At 12:30 p.m., officer on patrol observed criminal damage to two street signs on Stadium Drive. Case is closed.

• At 2 p.m., victim reported an unlawful use of a credit card in Douglas Hall. Case is pending.

• At 4:40 p.m., victim reported the theft of a laptop in Grant North. Case is pending.
