Sept. 25
About 1 p.m., victim reported someone took his bicycle from the exterior of Stevenson North. Later on Sept. 29, the victim reported recovering his bicycle from an unknown person. The offender has not been identified. Case is closed.
Sept. 27
At 12:18 a.m., University Police working a dance at the Convocation Center saw two individuals fighting. The officers separated them and arrested Marcela Gutierrez, 20, for illegal consumption of alcohol and battery. Officers booked Gutierrez at the NIU Police Department, and released Gutierrez after posting bond.
At 7:30 a.m., University Police discovered a person who illegally consumed alcohol in Lot W. The person was released without charges.
Sept. 28
At 12:31 a.m, University Police discovered a person who illegally consumed alcohol near the Convocation Center. The person was referred to Judicial Affairs.
At 12:39 a.m., University Police referred a person to Judicial Affairs for disorderly conduct at Grant North.
At 1:44 a.m., University Police referred a person to Judicial Affairs for disorderly conduct at the Convocation Center.
At 2:52 a.m., University Police stopped a vehicle for improper lane usage at 202 Mondovi Drive. The officers determined the driver, Michael A. Woodward, 18, of Oswego, was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for illegal consumption of alcohol. Officers booked Woodward at the NIU Police Department, and he was later released.
At 3:10 a.m., victim reported the unlawful use of a debit card at Lincoln Hall. The offender signed for her and received food intended for her. Police identified the offender, who was referred to Judicial Affairs.
At 10:30 a.m., victim reported someone took his laptop from his room in Stevenson North. Case is pending.
At 10:53 a.m., victim reported someone took her cell phone from her while she was in Neptune East. Officers identified the offender and returned the phone to the victim. The offender was referred to Judicial Affairs.
At 7:30 p.m., victim reported someone took his bicycle from the exterior of Stevenson North. Case is closed.
At 7:30 p.m., victim reported receiving several telephone calls and electronic communications of a harassing nature. Case is pending.
At 8:09 p.m., a criminal sexual assault was reported. The assault reportedly occurred on Sept. 5 in Lincoln Hall. Case is pending.
At 11:07 p.m., victim reported someone took $40 from their room in Grant South. Case is pending.

At 2:51 p.m., victim reported receiving telephone calls and electronic communications of a harassing nature. Case is pending.
At 5:20 p.m., victim reported someone took his laptop from his room in Grant South. Case is closed.
