At 3:18 p.m., victim reported someone took his bicycle from the exterior of Faraday West. On Oct. 22, case is closed.
Oct. 9
At 3:45 p.m., victim reported someone took his bicycle from the exterior of McMurry Hall. On Oct. 22, case is closed.
Oct. 11
At 10:15 p.m., officer on a parking lot check of Lot X noticed a backpack on the ground. The officer returned it to the owner, who had left the backpack at the Grant South bike racks. Upon inspecting the backpack, the owner noticed a silver wrench, black Motorola car charger and a black and silver MP3 player were missing. On Oct. 22, case is closed.
Oct. 15
At 12:28 a.m., victim reported receiving several electronic communications of a harassing nature at Lincoln Hall. On Oct. 22, case is closed.
Oct. 18
At 12:50 p.m., a theft of a cell phone at Grant South. On Oct. 22, case is closed.
Oct. 18
At 2:13 p.m., University Police found a 20-year-old student in possession of an open can of beer at Huskie Stadium. The student was referred to Judicial Affairs.
At 2:16 p.m., University Police found a 19-year-old student in possession of an open can of beer at Huskie Stadium. The student was referred to Judicial Affairs.
Oct. 22
At 8 p.m., a domestic battery was reported at Grant North. University Police interviewed all parties involved and arrested Jermel A. Taylor, 22, for domestic battery. Officers booked Taylor at the NIU Police Department, who was then transported to DeKalb County Jail.
