WOMEN’S STUDIES PROGRAM is hosting a presentation by Professor Jeff Kowalski on the prominence and power of ancient Maya women, titled “Textile Designs in Northern Maya Architecture: Women’s Production, Cloth, Tribute and Political Power” from noon to 1 p.m. Bring a lunch; coffee, cider and dessert will be provided.
