University Police Blotter: Oct. 27

Oct. 7

At 4 p.m., a criminal sexual assault was reported. The victim reported the assault occurred in Neptune East. Case is closed on victim’s request.

Oct. 22

At 11:30 p.m., University Police observed a small group of men arguing in Lincoln Hall. The officer intervened when the men began using disruptive behavior. The officer also noticed liquor bottles of various quantities in the trash. The case was referred to Judicial Affairs for minor consumption of alcohol.

Oct. 23

At 1 a.m., University Police called to Lincoln Hall interviewed an individual who was involved in an argument and referred the individual to Judicial Affairs for unlawful consumption of alcohol.

At 7 p.m., an attempted robbery occurred near the Holmes Student Center. The alleged victim was approached by one man who asked the victim if he could see his MP3 player. As he did this, a group of men surrounded the victim. The man then punched the victim in the face, but the victim was able to retain his MP3 player. All of the men then ran away. Case is pending.

At 9:32 p.m., University Police observed a parked car with broke lights on in Lot X. Upon investigating, the officer found that the occupant had a pipe along with cannabis. The occupant was referred to Judicial Affairs.
