Tonight, Prism will be hosting an End of Summer Party.

This is one of the group’s many regular dances. According to the group’s Web site, “The mission of Prism is to provide a support network and positive social outlets for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally communities of Northern Illinois University and the surrounding area.”

Prism member Edwin Rivera points out the party “will be a great way to end the summer with a bang.”

The event will be held at the Best Western on Route 38 and will go from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will also be a DJ on hand for the entire night. Anyone 18 and over is welcome to attend. You have to be 21 or over with a valid ID to drink. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door.
