ROTC to hold tactical labs in Eco Park woods
Students, staff and faculty should not be alarmed if they notice individuals carrying rubber weapon look-a-likes outside near Stevenson Towers.
The NIU Department of Military Science (ROTC) will be conducting tactical labs in the Eco Park woods on Wednesday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. and then again next Wednesday, March 26.
Rubber M-16 replicas will be used during the activity. Any questions can be directed to Christopher Oertwig at 815-753-6238
Women’s center to hold discussion on ‘Sex and the City’
The Women’s Resource Center will host a discussion on the former HBO television series “Sex and the City” today from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Discussion topics include the myths and realities of the show, as well as how to balance your career, relationships and sexuality.
Zeta Phi Beta is co-sponsoring the event at the Women’s Resource Center.
Filmmaker to present documentary
Filmmaker Byron Hurt will be presenting his film, “Beyond Beats and Rhymes” and a discussion March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center, Carl Sandburg Auditorium.
The event, put on by the Women’s Resource Center, is free but individuals wanting to attend should call 815-753-0320 to reserve a seat.

The Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program will have an informational presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday in the HSC, Illinois Room.
