By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

NIU has released more information for Sunday’s memorial service.

The university has asked those who attend to not bring certain items. These items are

· Purses, bags or backpacks

· Posters, sings or banners

· Helium balloons

· Umbrellas

· Poles or sticks

· Strollers

· Food and beverages

· Horns or noisemakers.

The university will allow cameras during the memorial. However, the camera must be smaller than the size of your fist and flash photography is not allowed. The university asks for camera bags to be left in the car.

NIU will also provide a shuttle service to bring people to the Convocation Center or other auxiliary sites. These auxiliary sites include the Homes Student Center, Barsema Victor and Alumni Center, of the Student Recreation Center.

These shuttles will pick up people at Campus Cinemas, the corner of Blackhawk and Hillcrest, or behind Anderson Hall.

Those who wish to park on campus for the memorial service can find parking information at http://www.niu.edu/tragedy/docs/parking.pdf/.
