John Laesch is still not conceding.

The Laesch for Congress campaign is investigating voting irregularities as it awaits official results in last Tuesday’s regular primary election, according to a press release.

Due to reports of long waits and ballot shortages, Laesch’s campaign is focusing on DeKalb County. The precincts in DeKalb that are of particular concern are the 3rd, 5th, 9th, 13th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 27th, 30th, 33rd, 34th and 36th.

No one from the campaign has contacted DeKalb County Clerk Sharon Holmes regarding this issue.

“We did experience a ballot shortage,” Holmes said. “Election judges did call us. As soon as we got those calls, we started printing out extra ballots.”

Volunteers for the Laesch campaign are still trying to identify voters who were discouraged from voting due to the ballot shortage.

Holmes said she did not hear anyone was disenfranchised through the shortage and none of the election judges had to turn anyone away.

“We need to be certain that everyone who wanted to vote was able to vote,” Laesch said in the release. “We have been documenting reports of irregularities since the election, including accidental disenfranchisement of voters in our district.”
