Weather to remain dangerously cold

Thursday night’s weather is expected to be especially dangerous, with negative temperatures and wind chills prevailing throughout the night.
The temperature is expected to remain steady around -7 degrees, with wind chill values as low as -21. A west to southwest wind will blow at about 5 mph.
Friday will see a 30 percent chance of snow after 3 p.m. Clouds will increase, with a high temperature near 20. Wind chill values, however, will remain as low as -20.
A 50 percent chance of snow is forecast for Friday night, with cloudy skies and a low around 18.
The public is advised to take precautions when traveling outside and to wear substantial protective clothing.
