‘Hitman’ proves to be only a mediocre adaptation of the popular video game

Timothy Olyphant
This video game adaptation is about Agent 47, who is fighting everybody. The film takes place during a “botched” hit, and he has to fend off INTERPOL, the Russian government and a bunch of assassins.
The guy from the “Deadwood” (Olyphant) series is actually becoming a good actor, even though “Hitman” won’t necessarily be a huge success.
This film might become part of a series, which would be all right, considering action series such as “Die Hard” only became good at the third movie.
The action scenes in this movie are something to write home about and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Some fans of the video game series might not be such huge fans of the movie. It will probably take “Hitman” a couple of movies to get the right formula down.
The dialogue was devoid of content, even for an action movie – and there was a low amount of action.
If you really like shooting things and movies about people shooting things, “Hitman” is a great movie. Otherwise, it’s just a decent adaptation of a video game.
There are some great special effects and editing that make the movie a decent watch.
