Four days before the NIU football team takes on Western Michigan in the its homecoming game, the women will get a chance to show their stuff during the annual Powder Puff football game.

The games take place at Barsema Field, Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Each team consists of seven players and each game will have two 10 minute halves. As always, the game are non-contact flag football.
The E.B.O.N.Y Women are making their debut in Powder Puff and while they hope to be competitive, according to their coach Domonique Webb, it is mainly a chance to have a good time during Homecoming Week.
“I’m hoping we win, but I’m going in open minded,” Webb said. “This is our first time in it so we just want to play hard. I’m mostly looking forward to having fun.”
Other teams see this game as a chance to get the word out about their organization.
“We’re hoping to get people aware of what it is we do,” Philippine Student Association coach Christina Carpio said. “We’ve been practicing for the last two weeks too, so we’re hoping to play well.”
