Greek Beat: Thurs., Sept. 5
September 6, 2007
The ladies of Alpha Phi are pleased to announce that for the third consecutive semester, we have received the best grades on campus. In the spring of 2007 Alpha Phi was recognized with having the best active GPA, best new member GPA, as well as the best cumulative GPA.
We exceeded all women’s average and finished the semester with a strong 3.13 overall! Our chapter was also recognized at our regional conference for our outstanding academic achievement. We contribute our success to our strong scholarship program.
Our program requires us to do various study table hours based our previous semester’s GPA. In addition to the study tables, the women in our chapter are rewarded on a weekly basis for their hard work with their studies. We have a “study nut” every week which goes to the woman who completed the most hours of study.
We always end the semester on a positive note with a luncheon, where gift cards are handed out for all the hard work we completed over the semester. Scholarship is a high priority of Alpha Phi, and we are proud to say that we can balance our scholastic responsibility as well as our sisterhood. Great job ladies!
