DeKALB | At 3:06 p.m. Tuesday, a Pizza Pro’s delivery man was robbed at gunpoint, DeKalb police say.
The victim was held up in front of a building at 821 Crane Drive by two black males.
Sgt. Wes Hoadley of the DeKalb Police Department said the suspect who carried the gun was wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants. He is described as being about 5’9″, weighing about 180 pounds, with a large nose.
The other suspect was wearing a black hoodie under a trench coat and had the hood up. He is described as being 6’3″ with a very thin build.
“The victim was not injured,” Hoadley said. “The gun looked like a black semi-automatic.”
Police said the suspects were last seen running south on Russell Road.
Lt. Jim Kayes of the DeKalb Police Department said a county sheriff’s dog was able to track something to 540 Russell Road.
“They did get money, but not that much,” Kayes said. “They didn’t get the pizza.”
As of Tuesday night, no arrests were made. The investigation of this case will continue.
