DeKALB | The Student Association Senate struck down two amendments to the Senate bylaws and approved several procedural changes.

The Senate rejected a proposal to eliminate campaigning as a group or on a party ticket. Another amendment would have prevented candidates from using nicknames on the ballot or in the campaign. Speaker Robert Batey said it “undermines the integrity of the Senate.” Both amendments were rejected.
