… The Taste
January 25, 2007
I hate the red carpet.
The Golden Globes were held last week and the nominations for the Oscars were released this week. In the hours leading up to Hollywood awards ceremonies, famous people are asked about their attire and their nomination.
Talk about your exceptional work in (insert overvalued film here) and tell me how you were so great.
Joan Rivers is not a journalist. Journalists ask questions rather than complimenting someone excessively, then sticking a mic in their face so they can spout whatever uninformed nonsense they want to.
One would think that after years of asking questions, at some point one might accidentally ask a pertinent question.
Also, clothes don’t make a person. They just make a superficial person.
Why do we care what they are wearing? I bet 90 percent of the population can’t afford any of the clothes Hollywood royalty dons.
And Hollywood is full of gluttons.
The giveaways from these award shows are disgusting on a large scale. So many people are struggling to pay their bills, while companies give away millions of dollars in product in the name of greater sales. Ironically, those who struggle are often the people rotting their brains with this filth.
Don’t watch the red carpet coverage of awards shows. You are contributing to the delinquency of the world.
