I was wondering how many eggs a stuffed bunny could protect if it fell from a height of eight feet.

Description: I started with a medium-sized Easter bunny stuffed animal and hollowed out 12 eggs. The bunny was hog-tied so it could hold the eggs and fall to the ground.
First I tested the height with an unshielded egg that broke on impact. Then I tested one, two, three and four eggs at a time. The bunny had no problem protecting three eggs as each was unharmed. On the fourth drop, every egg was smashed in the bunny’s grip.
What happened? I had a great time with this stress-relieving activity. Unfortunately, the effort involved in hollowing out a dozen eggs made the experience extremely tedious. If I ever repeat this experiment, I think I’ll just smash whole eggs outside.
