O.A.R. will bring its jam band music back to the Convocation Center April 26 with alternative rock band Army of Me as its supporting act.

The band is on the road promoting the 2005 release “Stories of a Stranger.”

“[O.A.R] is one of the more requested bands we get here,” said Kevin Selover, marketing manager for the Convo.

This is not the first time the band has played at the Convo. It last came to DeKalb Feb. 6, 2004.

“Their appeal is growing, and they are more popular now than they were two years ago,” Selover said.

According to O.A.R’s Web site, tickets will be $24.50 for students and $28.50 for the general public.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for students March 9 and to the general public March 11.
