Does anybody else realize that our scheduling system sucks here at NIU? I believe we should go to a new system instead of TRACS—a new computer system that would allow us to schedule in the spring so we wouldnt have to hassle with it in the fall. It’s done at a lot of other universities so why doesn’t NIU do it?

On parking…

If they’re going to take O Lot away from the students for the construction workers, then they could at least put a sidewalk from Annie Glidden Road back to the back parking lot so that we don’t have to walk through all the mud and the snow to get back to our cars!

Why doesn’t parking services install ticket boxes (similar to the City of Sycamore) so faculty, staff and students could pay their tickets? With or without construction, its virtually impossible to get over there on time to pay tickets. Or is that the strategy?!
