The Soundtrack of Our Lives: Origins Vol. 1
January 20, 2005
Indie Swedish rockers The Soundtrack of Our Lives are back with “Origins Vol. 1.”
Their fourth album can be described as melodic greatness with tracks such as “Believe I’ve Found,” “Transcendental Suicide,” “Bigtime” and “Lone Summer Dream” showing the band’s harder side and influences.
While frontman Ebbot Lundberg might be rough and tough in appearance, his softer talent is revealed on “Midnight Children.”
Their music isn’t the normal screaming-your-lungs-out-and-whining-about-your-parents like most rock artists nowadays.
These guys have learned and lived the ropes, and lyrically there is meaning behind their music. Their sound has a European trendy feel with a touch of some Blur and Oasis to it.
Original in every sense of the word, The Soundtrack of Our Lives is ready to take America by storm.
“Origin Vol. 1” shows how the band has evolved from its EP “Gimme Five” to “Extended Revelation” and the 2002 Grammy-nominated album “Behind the Music.”
This just proves that this six-member flock is back to add more fuel to the fire.
