Wake-up comes at wrong time, falls on angry ears
November 10, 2004
In Monday’s letter that was a “wake-up call” to the Democratic Party, I have nothing to say but more so chuckle at this un-insightful letter. Obviously, someone is proud of the recent election winner, but others are not. You can point at us Democrats and bash us the way you like to, but from what I recall, it seems to me that many Americans don’t like Bush, your representative. I’ve never seen so many stickers, shirts, posters and CDs bashing Bush from left to right.
This only means the people are definitely speaking out and it seems as if no one is a fan of the recent election. Someone even killed himself at Ground Zero to protest Bush’s re-election. Seems to me that we already woke up because people are taking a stand for what they believe in, and I’m sorry you were late about this. I haven’t seen many anti-Kerry signs out or anything of that nature. There’s always going to be some kind of political hoopla between any candidates.
If someone can make a documentary on President Bush and expose him to make him seem like he’s not very promising either, then obviously there is an underlined statement that must be noted here. I could go on about what Bush has done wrong, but that’s not my point right now.
We don’t need your finger pointed at us, laughing. You should understand the bigger issue and that is that we should unify everyone.
Frankly, I’m not satisfied with the election results, but that’s only my opinion. If you think we need change, I agree totally. We need to change the president. People are suffering and we’re suffering on our soil, too – so remember who was president while we were suffering. There’s even more suffering outside the United States and we should change that, too.
We can only build together to be better together, so please don’t think your words are even stimulating us. You should look at changing a few things yourself. We’re more concerned with making more shirts, buttons and probably even more CDs to rock against this election. We will take the change upon ourselves.
We need to unify.
We need to make more paraphernalia that represents how the situation really is.
We need to set your alarm clock at the proper time, for future reference.
