NIU President John Peters and wife Barbara Peters will host their annual holiday luncheon Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Holmes Student Center’s Duke Ellington Ballroom.

Anyone from the university is free to attend.

“The entire NIU community is invited. We have it to celebrate the holidays and the school year,” said Ellen Andersen, special events director at NIU.

Andersen said the annual luncheon always is well-attended and a lot of fun for everyone who decides to stop by.

The luncheon gives NIU community members a chance to visit with other members of the university, enjoy a lunch buffet and show Huskie spirit.

Andersen said there will be special presentations and events at the luncheon that have yet to be determined.
