Voting for Homecoming king and queen will take place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. today and Wednesday at DuSable Hall and Tuesday at the Holmes Student Center.

The king and queen will be announced at the Coronation Ceremony following the talent show Sunday, Oct. 12, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom.

The royalty also is expected to attend all of the homecoming festivities.

“The members of the court, especially the king and queen, are encouraged to attend all of Homecoming’s events so that people can get to know who they are,” said Jennifer Suerth, president of CAB.

Candidates for king are Pedro Serrato III of NIU cheerleading, Greg Feltes of COM-SAC, Johnathan Haig of Delta Sigma Pi, Isaak Lerner of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Pat (Al) Verhalen of Kappa Kappa Psi.

Candidates for queen are Ashley Davis of Black Theatre Workshop, Julie Harris of Stevenson North Hall Council, Meghann Duncan of Student Alumni Association, Gina Marie Jones of Alpha Kappa Alpha and Crystal Hoppe of Alpha Phi.
