Campus Activities Board is ushering in the new semester with three acts. All of which are scheduled for the Holmes Student Center’s Duke Ellington Ballroom.

Michelle Branch

Michelle Branch, who is touring to establish her second major label release, “Hotel Paper,” was contacted by CAB, which found an open spot in her touring schedule, according to John Benson, CAB concert coordinator.

Branch will perform at 8 p.m. on Oct. 24. Tickets, which go on sale Wednesday, will cost $15 for NIU students and $20 for the general public.

Jason Mraz

CAB also booked artist Jason Mraz to perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18.

Tickets, which go on sale Oct. 17, will cost $15 for NIU students and $18 for the general public.

Mraz has established himself in the music industry by blending a series of musical styles, including elements of jazz, hip-hop and coffeehouse folk.

Robert Randolph

Robert Randolph & The Family Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Tickets will cost $10 for students and $15 for the general public. They go on sale Oct. 13.
