Golden Reel to honor student films
April 16, 2003
The NIU Student Film and Video Association will give away its version of the Academy Award, the Golden Reel, next week.
The Golden Reel Award film festival will be held at 7 p.m. April 24 at Cole Hall, Room 101.
Submissions should be turned in by April 22 in the Editing Lab in the Cole Hall A/V Office. The box will be marked “S.F.V.A. Golden Reel Award Entries.”
If submissions cannot be turned in by that time, they may be turned in at the S.F.V.A. meeting Wednesday night.
Last year’s Golden Reel film festival attracted more than 160 people, making it the largest turnout in S.F.V.A. history.
